Terrace

A wraparound terrace suspended in the treetops, where the rainforest pours in from every side and the day unfolds to the rhythm of wind and birdsong.

Roofed in cane and dark timber beams, the terrace runs the full length of the house, connecting the living room, kitchen and bedrooms to the garden and pool. Ceiling fans and pendant lights keep the space cool and welcoming from morning to night.

The furniture mixes cushioned wicker armchairs, solid-wood benches, log coffee tables and wind chimes — creating quiet corners for reading, conversation, morning coffee or a sunset drink surrounded by nature.

From the railing you look out over the forest canopy, the pool below and the open-air grill area framed by tropical foliage. It is the outdoor heart of Casa Aluem — the place where house and jungle become one.
