Designed for gathering, cooking and sharing, the Casa Aluem kitchen pairs sage-green cabinetry with granite countertops, a rolling island topped with solid hardwood, and floating tropical-wood shelves displaying glassware, handcrafted dishes and locally made ceramic mugs.

It is fully equipped with modern stainless-steel appliances: a Samsung french-door refrigerator with water dispenser, electric range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, thermal coffee maker, toaster and blender. A full set of knives, pots, pans and tools is ready for everything from a tropical breakfast to a family dinner.

High beamed ceilings, a sculptural wooden pendant light and a ceiling fan keep the space cool and airy. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors connect the kitchen with the dining area, the living room and the terrace, letting in forest light and birdsong while you cook.
